What We Do:
Cycling for Mobility is a
Non-Profit Company whose members are a group of cyclists
who through their passion for cycling are raising
awareness and are assisting people who through age,
Illness or misfortune have lost the ability to be mobile
without the use of a wheel chair
Through fundraising and donations we have managed to
donate in excess of 60 wheel chairs. In 2012 Wheelchairs
were donated along the entire Joberg2c route between
Frankfort in the Free State and Scottburgh on the South
Coast.
Through our website and through people who have seen
us at races, we are approached by riders who inform us
of these unfortunate people and we endeavour to get in
touch with them or someone who has contact with them and
we do whatever possible to help them.
The pain that we feel when riding is nothing compare
to what these people feel when they have to struggle
along with no assistance. The smile on the recipients
face when receiving a brand new wheelchair is our
reward. Your Donations go a long way to enabling us to
make these people smile
